This administrative order mandates that all unauthorized structures, makeshift stalls, and residential extensions beneath these heavily utilized flyovers must be completely cleared within the one-week window, failing which enforcement teams will initiate forceful demolition drives.

This aggressive notice follows hot on the heels of a massive, highly synchronized midnight operation executed at the busy Park Circus railway station on the Sealdah South section. Acting on prior warnings issued earlier this month, a specialized railway enforcement squad deployed heavy earthmovers and bulldozers late Monday night to systematically tear down dozens of long-standing illegal shops, kiosks, and commercial shanties. The midnight operation effectively cleared highly congested pathways that had heavily obstructed daily commuters for several years.

To prevent any immediate law-and-order flare-ups or retaliatory protests from the local trading unions during the late-night raid, a formidable security blanket was thrown over the Park Circus area.
